Joy Dodd is the President and Co-Founder of Joy To The Nations International, which she and her ministry partner founded in 2012. She has served in full-time ministry and missions since 2008 and was a missionary in Honduras from January 2011 through June 2025. Prior to the founding of Joy To The Nations, Joy served with another missions organization, gaining valuable experience in international ministry and outreach.
After sensing God’s call to Honduras, Joy raised financial support and relocated to the field full-time, where she invested more than a decade in discipleship, leadership development, and gospel-centered outreach. Over the years, she has served in various church leadership roles, including Children’s Pastor and Youth Director, and carries a deep passion for seeing children and youth come to know Jesus, understand their identity in Him, and grow in a faith that shapes their lives.
Today, Joy’s ministry continues with a focused commitment to discipleship grounded in biblical foundations and ministering to the whole person. Through biblical counseling and life coaching, she walks alongside individuals seeking healing, clarity, and spiritual growth—addressing spiritual, emotional, relational, and life challenges in a Christ-centered way.
In July 2025, Joy relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to attend seminary and complete a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This season of training represents a deepening of her long-standing ministry call, equipping her to serve with greater wisdom, discernment, and compassion while remaining rooted in Scripture and attentive to the work of the Holy Spirit.
Though now based in the United States, Joy remains deeply committed to global missions. She continues to maintain strong missionary relationships in Honduras and around the world, and proceeds from her U.S. based ministry directly support ongoing foreign missions efforts in Honduras, Japan, Africa, and India. Through Joy To The Nations, her work in discipleship, counseling, and coaching is intentionally connected to the broader mission of advancing the gospel and strengthening ministry efforts internationally.
Joy’s desire is to see people made whole, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally, through the love and truth of Jesus Christ. She invites others to partner with her in this mission through prayer, financial support, and a shared commitment to seeing lives transformed both locally and globally.

Jen has served as a missionary since July 2001 in a variety of roles both in the U.S. and internationally, including ministry in the Philippines, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Honduras. She carries a deep heart for the nations. After 13 consecutive years of service in Honduras—on both the mainland and the Bay Islands—God called her to base her ministry in the southern United States and, more recently, the U.S. Midwest. From there, she focuses on the Father’s business by helping others engage with the Great Commission, meeting with pastors, small groups, couples, and individuals, and offering Biblical Counseling and Life Coaching services. She is also pursuing seminary studies through 2027 for continued growth and stretching in this new season of ministry. Additionally, she helps connect U.S. short-term mission teams with trusted on-the-ground contacts in Honduras.
Jen’s desire is to partner with other believers to reach the nations for Jesus! Through JTTN’s various ministries, Jen is excited to see people come to know Jesus and mature in His Word.
